No autopsy was done but it was assumed the blows to the gut were the cause of his demise.
In 2017 The American Journal of Emergency Medicine reported a case of traumatic appendicitis following blunt trauma to the abdomen.

Whether an autopsy was not performed for religious reasons or family request, the death of Harry Houdini on October 31 ( note the doctor’s confusion about dates ) has only served to increase the many mysteries around his life.
